Teufel announces new AirPlay 2 speakers

 

Just in time for IFA, Teufel has announced new speakers that will be made available in the fourth quarter of this year. The Motiv Home is an all-in-one streaming system with battery, WiFi, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast and Bluetooth. The most important codecs are supported, and the new speaker can also be transported for short periods using a small carrying handle.


I was able to listen to the new Teufel Motiv Home briefly and together with Dynamore Ultra, which creates a virtual stereo panorama, the sound quality is really great. The speaker is well made, has buttons on the top for controlling playback and volume and can also be connected to the Teufel Home app. Additional keys can then be assigned here, for example with the favorite playlist. An equalizer is also available via the app.

Teufel Stereo M 2



The new Teufel Stereo M 2 is an active bookshelf speaker pair with Apple AirPlay, Chromecast and Spotify Connect. The speakers can be connected to each other wirelessly; an optional connection via the optical input is possible. An AUX connection can also be used, and the volume and playback can also be controlled using buttons on a speaker. A proximity sensor automatically activates the illumination of the keys.


The new Teufel Stereo M 2 is also compatible with the Teufel Home app, allows playback control and provides an equalizer. The pair of speakers is available in white and black and costs 999.99 euros.



Teufel Effect 2 as a supplement


The Teufel Effect 2 rear speakers have been revised and now have a removable power cable, and the status LED can also be deactivated. The 2-way acoustics have been retuned, there is now a higher maximum volume and a stronger bass. The Teufel Effect 2 are once again connected wirelessly and are also compatible with the new Teufel Stereo M 2.
